This role involves overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring the integration of robust security measures, and ensuring the overall security and compliance of the SAP HANA ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAP HANA security best practices, project management methodologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver high-quality projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage SAP HANA security projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, security experts, and external vendors, to define project objectives and requirements. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and solutions for SAP HANA systems to ensure data protection, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Identify and mitigate security risks related to SAP HANA systems and applications. Oversee security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to ensure the system is secure from potential threats. Coordinate the deployment of security patches, updates, and configuration changes to SAP HANA environments. Ensure that the SAP HANA security infrastructure aligns with organizational policies and standards. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance SAP HANA security processes and tools. Maintain and report on the status of security projects, including deliverables, milestones, and any potential issues. Manage project resources, timelines, and budget to ensure successful project delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related aspects of SAP HANA projects, providing updates and reporting to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in managing SAP HANA security projects or other SAP-related security initiatives. Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, security features, and best practices for securing SAP systems. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOC 2). Familiarity with SAP security tools, SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), SAP Identity Management (IdM), and related technologies. Experience conducting security audits and risk assessments, as well as implementing remediation measures. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar certifications are a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud environments and SAP HANA security in cloud deployments. Knowledge of SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, and related technologies.
