Position: Collibra Data Governance Specialist Location: St. Louis, MO (Remote) Duration: Long Term Job description: Solid understanding of data governance concepts and experience with analysis of metadata and data quality or similar background. Understanding of these concepts as they relate to data governance of Enterprise Resource Planning platforms is preferred. Data Governance Background. Collibra or other Data Governance platform experience. Tableau, Looker, or other visualization platform experience. Proficient in basic data concepts (management, modeling, curation/wrangling). Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive (takes initiative). Ability to analyze complex processes into sub-processes. Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong meeting facilitation skills as well as presentation skills. Communicate effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with the right level of detail and cultural sensitivity. Preferred software experience: Collibra (or similar Data Governance software) Oracle (or similar ERP software) Symedical (or similar Reference Data Management software) SQL Flexible and open to new ideas with the ability to understand things from corporate, regional, and local perspectives while maintaining customer focus. Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment; self-motivated to work in an independent and collaborative mode. Ability to build strong relationships with peers and leaders by building trust and credibility; strong collaboration skills. Active listening skills to understand business needs and steer the business team to make decisions that have enterprise-wide impact. Effectively influence a team of individuals without reporting authority to achieve goals and meet deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree, preferably in Healthcare, Science, or Technology related major, or other related major, or equivalent work experience. Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred. Experience working in Data Governance preferred. General knowledge of healthcare operations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data management, the interrelationship of systems, and how technology enables business processes preferred. Basic knowledge of backend database configuration and processes.
