This role is a key leadership position responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the required technology stack, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to articulate the reasoning behind technical decisions. This position will work closely with the Architect and be responsible for new development work. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: Designing Solutions: Apply technical expertise to drive outcomes for customers. Independently solve problems and align initiatives with the broader software engineering strategy. Implementing Solutions: Work independently and collaboratively to develop core software for products. Ensure the delivery of stable, scalable, and resilient software solutions. Learning and Applying New Techniques: Share new ideas and techniques with the team. Mentor junior engineers and encourage continuous learning. Collaborating within the Team: Provide technical expertise in collaboration sessions to resolve roadblocks. Assist in product planning and implementation, breaking down complex work. Defining Engineering Standards and Patterns: Contribute to developing engineering practices, templates, and frameworks. DevOps & Continuous Improvement: Assess technology to enhance software stability, scalability, and resilience. Promote CI/CD pipeline usage to improve deployment and build processes. Participate in team support rotation and provide expert knowledge on subsystems. Leading & Coaching Engineers: Provide guidance and technical expertise to junior engineers. Conduct training sessions to upskill team members. Offer domain expertise to help junior engineers contribute effectively. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience & Skills: 7+ years of experience in engineering environments. Ability to transform abstract concepts into detailed software engineering plans. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Proficiency in version control and revision control methodologies. Deep knowledge of secure and stable systems design concepts. Expertise in debugging complex code and analyzing log files. Strong experience in querying databases for complex data retrieval and updates. Ability to perform thorough code reviews and provide feedback.
