Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in an architectural role. Extensive experience designing and implementing Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), including service orchestration, service governance, and integration patterns. Expertise in designing and developing microservices and distributed systems with Java technologies. Hands-on experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and JAX-WS for building and deploying services. Proven experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware tools (e.g., Apache Camel, Enterprise Service Bus, RESTful and SOAP web services). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and agile methodologies. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and JVM-based languages. Expertise in SOA design principles, including service discovery, security, and versioning. Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application design. Strong experience with API design and management, using tools such as Swagger or API Gateways. Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures. Expertise in building scalable, high-performance, and distributed systems. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), distributed caching, and data persistence solutions. Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide development teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team-based, collaborative environment. A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and architectural patterns. Preferred Qualifications: Cloud Certification: Experience with AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certifications. Agile & Scrum: Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile practices. Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and serverless architecture. Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
