Job Title : WMS Sr. Support Analyst Location : Louisville, KY Duration : Long term Contract 6-8 Yrs experience Required Job Description: Providing technical and Functional support and troubleshooting issues related to a Warehouse Management System (WMS) software Diagnose and resolve WMS related issues reported by users, including data errors, system crashes, and operational glitches. Analyze error logs and identify root causes of problems. Provide timely solutions to minimize disruptions in warehouse operations. Ensuring smooth warehouse operations by resolving user queries, identifying system problems, implementing updates, and maintaining system stability, often collaborating with warehouse staff and IT teams to optimize system functionality. Answer user questions regarding WMS functionality and procedures. Train new users on WMS features and best practices. Assist users with data entry, reporting, and system navigation. Monitor WMS performance and identify potential issues proactively. Perform system backups and updates to ensure data integrity and compatibility. Apply software patches and upgrades as needed. Configure WMS settings to meet specific warehouse requirements. Manage user access levels and security settings. Generate reports on warehouse performance metrics based on WMS data. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. Escalate critical issues to appropriate support levels when necessary. Required Skills: Strong understanding of WMS software functionality, database concepts, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with users and technical teams. Commitment to providing timely and quality support to warehouse users. Ability to interpret data from WMS reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Relevant Experience: Previous experience as a WMS support analyst or similar role in a warehouse environment. Knowledge of specific WMS platforms (e.g., SAP EWM, JDA WMS, Manhattan Associates,Softeon Knowledge in interpreting XML files which are integrated across systems and changing the data in it depending on the need(Data issues).
