[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description -Rate Upto 100 Need 3 refrences Job Title: Wireless Information Network (MSWIN) Technical Consultant Duration:12+ Months Location: Jackson, MSClient: State of MSRequired Experience Experience in the direct supervision and management of tower construction for wireless communication systems - 20 Years Experience with and knowledge of the operational characteristics and design of digital trunked radio communications infrastructure - 15 Years Experience with and knowledge of the operational characteristics and design of microwave communications infrastructure - 20 Years Experience with Motorola digital trunked two-way radio systems - 20 Years Experience in the implementation, management, and administration of statewide, enterprise wide, or other large-scale wireless initiatives - 15 Years Experience in the supervision of site acquisition and development for tower construction - 20 Years Direct experience in acquiring and selling lease space on towers for a large-scale radio system - 15 Years Direct experience and familiarity with the composition and structure of soils throughout the state of Mississippi - 15 Years Experience with public safety radio projects - 15 Years Experience with statewide radio projects - 10 Years Direct experience in the design, deployment and implementation of public safety LTE/broadband networks - 5 Years Experience in the routine maintenance of tower sites, electrical generation equipment, microwave and LMR repeater infrastructure - 15 Years Experience in contracting for LMR system maintenance services - 10 Years Direct experience in the planning, emergency deployment, and operation of mobile communication sites and radios - 15 Years Experience with Motorola TDMA digital trunked two way radio systems - 5 Years Successful engagements with state entities in the past. Vendor must specifically describe the proposed personnels relevant experience with state entities - 10 Years Experience in development of communications interoperability solutions in response to emergencies - 15 Years Direct experience in the development of the technical features necessary for public safety - 5 years use of 4G networks Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing Ability to interact with functional users and technical staff regarding business and information technology needs Ability to listen and solve problems Effective time management skills Ability to work independently in accordance with priorities set by the WCC Executive Officer Other Requirements Preference given to candidates with the below skills/experience. Must also meet minimum requirements. Local candidates always preferred Previous State/Gov experience preferred Ten years direct experience with the WCCs MSWIN System infrastructure, sites and operation. Working background in public safety, law enforcement, and emergency operation centers. Direct experience with FirstNet deployment efforts These requirements will be included in the Quality of Experience - Evaluation process and criteria. Place of Performance The WCC is located in Jackson, MS. While the vendor can work remotely, the WCC prefers to have the tech consultant in person at least 50% of the time. Period of Performance One year upon signature, (with the option for four one-year renewals).
