Visa Allowed: All Visa except H1B and CPT, CPT Duration: 1 year with possible extension Interview Mode: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video Resume Local ID 2 references Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of and experience in IT project management, including industry standard and best practices (7+ years) Experience establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk and issue logs (7+ years) Experience using a project portfolio management systems and tools (e.g., Clarity) (5+ years) Clear and concise communication skills required Qualifications: Deep knowledge and experience in IT project management including industry standards and best practices (7 years) Proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget in a formal project manager role (7 years) Experience in establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and managing change requests, risks, and issues (7 years) Experience in developing and delivering project status reports (7 years) Experience with project portfolio management systems and tools, such as Clarity (5 years) Advanced proficiency in MS Project (5 years) Experience with handling a wide variety of stakeholders and system owners from other departments (5 years) Experience managing a multi-vendor environment in a government context (5 years) Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (3 years) Responsibilities: Leverage the State of Michigan's Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) for preparing project schedules, assigning resources, and managing budgets Create and deliver presentation material tailored for executives, managers, and project team members Oversee project progress, focusing on managing costs, schedules, scopes, resources, quality, and risks Ensure timely and precise communication with stakeholders including project sponsors, team members, and DTMB management Foster collaboration between technical and business teams, driving consensus and commitment Develop and maintain key project management deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, such as Project Charter, Budget, and Change Requests Coordinate with other agencies for seamless communication regarding project interfaces Ensure compliance with the SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology (SEM), ensuring smooth phase transitions Facilitate Change Management processes, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained before implementation Develop Corrective Action Plans (CAP) where necessary to realign projects Review vendor contracts to manage deliverables and ensure adherence to approval procedures Navigate stakeholder interactions to clarify expectations and ensure completion of deliverables Pre-Screening Questions: These are required for submission to be considered.
