Position Penetration testing Location San Francisco, CA Onsite position Duration Longterm Contract Role Description: Project Penetration testing in the UDN and Cloud environment. Perform static and dynamic application security testing. Simulate cyberattacks: Use hacking tools and techniques to perform attacks on a companys systems, networks, or applications Identify vulnerabilities. Find gaps in security that hackers could exploit Document actions. Create a report on what you did and how successfully you breached security protocols Advise on security improvements. Suggest ways to fix or lower security risks to systems Train users. Provide training to users to minimize future security risks Assess physical security. Evaluate the security of network hardware devices and server systems physically Ability to fulfil all job responsibilities of penetration tester Ability to analyze malware/exploits through forensics, observation of network traffic and using other tools and resources to determine if CLIENT systems are vulnerable. Research and write in-depth reports and advisories on security risks to employees and operations Expert in network security, vulnerability assessment, web application security, operating system knowledge, scripting, report writing, communication, social engineering, and a deep understanding of different network components and hacking techniques to identify and exploit vulnerabilities within systems and applications effectively proficient in identifying potential security weaknesses and communicating their findings clearly to clients. Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
