Position: DevOps Specialist (Hybrid) Location: Chicago, IL || Locals Only Duration: 6-12 Months (CTH) Job Description Job Description: We are seeking a Developer Security with strong experience in Devops and Cloud Computing. Responsible for the analysis, design and development of scalable software solutions across the full secure software development life cycle from conception to deployment. Should be well familiar with CI/CD pipelines. Kubernetes a plus. Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of cloud deployments, Terraform. Experience with middleware, WebLogic application servers, Tomcat, JBoss etc. Spring Boot, Agile development methodology. Knowledge of full secure software development lifecycle. Analytical and problem-solving skills. A positive goal-oriented attitude with a focus on delivery. Experience in React & docker would be a plus. Major Duties Design and develop Terraform scripts Automate Cloud deployments Install Products on Kubernetes. Design, develop and unit test components as defined above Consult with business partners on requirements and synthesize into technical requirements and designs On the technical side, work with architects, designers and enterprise framework groups on the best solution for both business and IT Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions. Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriately Experience 8+ years of experience working in the relevant field Skill Set Terraform Kubernetes General familiarity with web technologies such as Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat etc. Competent using GIT based source code management tools.
