Manhattan NY Location: Manhattan, NY We are looking for an Assistant Designer to support our design team in creating stylish, commercially viable intimate wear that aligns with our brand vision. This role involves assisting with product design, sample coordination, and communication with internal teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing on-brand, trend-conscious products. Create sketches, CAD images, and prototypes with clear construction details. Organize and maintain the sample room. Prepare materials for meetings, including presentation boards and product samples. Collaborate with production, merchandising, and technical design teams to ensure smooth development. Support fit sessions and track sample progress. Stay updated on market trends and competitor research. Contribute to mood boards and design concepts. Work efficiently, anticipating potential issues and finding solutions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or relevant experience. Some experience in fashion design, preferably in a retail setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (Centric is a plus). Strong eye for fashion trends and product details. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Adaptable, proactive, and results-driven.
