Job Title: Program Manager Location: Richmond, VA (Locals Only or with state client exp ) Duration: 12+ months (with potential extension) Exp : 15+ above only MOI: Web Cam Interview Rate : Have a Good Rate for this , Share resumes to: [email protected] Description: The Program Manager will oversee a large-scale modernization effort involving multiple projects, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration, and technical debt remediation. This role requires managing a team of PMs, tech leads, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The Program Manager will report directly to the CIO and will be responsible for planning a cloud migration roadmap, managing schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication. Duties/Responsibilities: Plan and execute a comprehensive modernization program, including desktop upgrades, network upgrades, ACD/PBX upgrades, .NET platform upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and cloud migration. Manage the overall program schedule, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Oversee multiple projects, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives. Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership. Manage program scope, budget, and timelines to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing large-scale upgrade or modernization projects, including infrastructure and applications. Proven experience in the entire project management lifecycle, from initiation to close-out. Strong background in scope, risk, issue, and stakeholder management. Expertise in schedule management, including managing precedents and dependencies. Experience working in a structured Project Management Office (PMO). Active PMP certification is required. Prior experience with State government projects is a significant plus. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Preference for candidates based in Virginia.
