This is a Contract-to-Hire position through the end of 2025 with the option to work remotely, requiring occasional travel to Chicagoland. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 15 developers, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to best practices. Provide hands-on architectural guidance for vulnerability management across hardware and cloud security. Oversee ticket resolution and assignment, ensuring timely execution and effective problem-solving. Review and guide software code to maintain high security, performance, and scalability standards (no direct coding responsibilities). Collaborate closely with product owners to align security architecture with business goals. Foster a flexible and collaborative environment to drive innovation and efficiency. What You Wont Do: This role is not responsible for client project delivery, stakeholder management, or external communicationsthe focus is strictly on internal technical leadership and development excellence. Required Qualifications: Extensive experience in security architecture, vulnerability management, and cloud-based development. Deep understanding of C++ (hardware security), Java, Ruby, and Python (cloud vulnerability software). Proven leadership in managing high-performing engineering teams. Strong ability to review code, enforce best practices, and drive security improvements. Excellent collaboration skills with both engineering teams and product owners.
