Job Title: Network Architect Location: Plano, TX(onsite) Type: Contract Job Summary: Leadership and Documentation:o Provide architectural leadership to define technical requirements and use caseso Lead work sessions to define overall design and integration approacho Provide professional level, accurate, detailed documentation Technical Expertise:o Hands on experience with Cisco SDWAN design, deployment. and troubleshootingo Expertise in SDWAN Cloud connectivity approaches and best practices solutionso Hands on experience with P network design with specific experience integrating Cisco SDWAN into Po Expertise in P native cloud networking as well as injection of virtual networking into Po Expertise in developing a Proof of Concept (POC) for P to function as a Hub/Data Centero Expertise developing and executing test plans for both branch and Cloud SDWAN designs Infrastructure Migration:o Expertise in developing migration approaches and assessing optimal approach for customero Hands on experience migrating SDWAN into Po Ability to work as a team member in site and/or Cloud cutover eventso Ability to lead as facilitator during migration events for cutover tasks, troubleshooting and operational handover Networking:o Significant experience deploying Cisco SDWAN network functionality (2+ engagements)o Significant experience in deploying Cisco SDWAN in P (minimum 1 engagement)o At least one network certification in leading vendor technology Architecture and Design:o Develop a comprehensive blueprint for the network architecture and design.o Gather and document all necessary LAN technical information.o Create detailed architecture and design documents to guide the migration process.Technical Requirements: Experience:o Proven experience with Cisco SDWANo In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (P) and its networking capabilities.o Experience with SD-WAN solutions, specifically AT&T managed SDWAN solutions Skills:o Strong architecture backgroundo High level and low-level design expertise, engineering run books, test planso Excellent documentation and design skills to create detailed and comprehensive architectural plans.P Status: The current status of P is not yet ready to serve as a Hub/Data Center, and a Proof of Concept (POC) has not been established. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in addressing these gaps and ensuring the readiness of P for full-scale operations.Action Items: Stand up necessary documentation and train the existing team. Engage experts with SDWAN and P experience. Finalize Cloud Interconnect and Cloud Integration strategies Establish POC for P as a Hub/Data Center. Develop a detailed Architecture and Design document.
