Role: Product Design Engineer Motivation and Creativity: Strong curiosity, passion for innovation, and creative problem-solving skills. Design Expertise: Mechanical intuition, spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and innovative thinking. Engineering Fundamentals: Proficiency in statics, strength of materials, material science, and statistics. Communication Skills: Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly articulate design concepts and actively contribute to brainstorming sessions. CAD Experience: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (any program). Familiarity with 2D drafting and GD&T is a plus. Design Cycle Knowledge: Experience managing designs from concept to manufacturing is preferred. Mass Production Design: Background in designing molded, formed, or machined components for high-volume production is a significant advantage.
