Job Title: Mainframe Developer Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Experience: 13+ Years US s Only Required Skills and Qualifications: 13+ years of experience in mainframe application development. Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe technologies. Strong knowledge of z/OS, mainframe architecture, and system programming. Expertise in system analysis, design, and debugging for mainframe applications. Experience with batch and online systems, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with modern tools and techniques for mainframe modernization. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Preferred Skills: Experience with mainframe-to-cloud migration and modernization. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Knowledge of additional languages such as Assembler or PL/I is a plus. Experience with mainframe testing tools.
