Job Title : SAP RAR Consultant Location : Austin, TX Long Term Contract Job Summary: The SAP RAR Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) solutions. The role involves working with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, integrating SAP RAR with SAP SD, FI, and other modules, and optimizing revenue accounting processes. Key Responsibilities: Implement and configure SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to meet business and compliance requirements. Analyze business processes related to revenue recognition and recommend best practices. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606. Integrate SAP RAR with SAP SD, FI, and other relevant modules. Perform system testing, UAT, and provide end-user training. Troubleshoot issues related to SAP RAR and provide technical support. Design and optimize revenue recognition processes, ensuring automation and efficiency. Work with IT and business teams to document requirements, configurations, and solutions. Stay updated on SAP RAR enhancements and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years in SAP RAR implementation and support. Education: bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, IT, or related field. SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP RAR, including revenue contracts, performance obligations, and revenue recognition. Experience with SAP SD and FI integration. Understanding of SAP S/4HANA RAR (preferred). Financial & Accounting Knowledge: IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance understanding. Revenue recognition concepts and financial reporting knowledge. Technical Skills: SAP RAR configuration and customization. Fiori-based reporting and dashboards. ABAP debugging skills (preferred but not mandatory). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Certifications: SAP RAR Certification (if available). SAP FI or SD Certification. Employment Type: Full-time / Contract / Remote (based on company requirements).
