https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2231687&uid= From: Vishal kumar, Vyze Inc vishal@vyzeinc.com Reply to: vishal@vyzeinc.com Job Description - Need Local to Harrisburg Area as it requires F2F Interview .NET Backend Developer with Angular Work Schedule: Monday Friday (7:00 AM 6:00 PM flexible hours, 8-hour workday) Maximum Hours: 40 hours per week (plus 80 hours of unpaid leave per fiscal year) Work Location: Majority remote with required in-person components (see below) In-Person Requirements: Interview: Must report in person to PennDOTs Harrisburg, PA office (400 North Street, 5th floor) Onboarding: Equipment pickup required in person Meetings/Training: Occasional in-person reporting may be required Security & Access: Work is conducted on a secured floor (no provided parking) Background Check: PATCH check & work authorization required before engagement (vendor expense) Project Overview: The Pennsylvania Transit Database (PennTD) is a greenfield web application being developed for PennDOTs Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system using modern .NET and Angular technologies. The application will be deployed to the Azure cloud, improving communication between PennDOT, the Federal Department of Transit, and public transit agencies within Pennsylvania while optimizing business processes and preparing for future system enhancements. The initial deployment is targeted for March 2025, with quarterly feature deployments planned thereafter. Responsibilities: Work under the Technical Lead and Application Architect to develop and enhance the PennTD system. Write, test, and document code to implement system features and improvements. Utilize modern .NET and Angular technologies for application development and integration. Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, ADA). Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. Required Skills & Experience (8+ Years): Backend Development: .NET Core & C# Backend service and application development. ASP.NET (MVC or Core) Web application development. SQL Server & T-SQL Experience with Azure SQL. RESTful APIs & Microservices API integration, event-driven architecture. ORM Experience with Entity Framework or Dapper. Testing Frameworks XUnit/NUnit (Jasmine/Karma preferred). Cloud & Containerization: Azure Functions, Azure Queue, Azure Storage, Azure Container Registry, Key Vault. Containerization Docker experience preferred. Frontend Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Experience with jQuery and Bootstrap preferred. Angular Must have recent experience with Angular 14+. Development Tools: Visual Studio (VS2022) & VS Code. Azure DevOps / Git. Additional Knowledge & Experience: Mobile-First & Responsive Design. Design Patterns & SOLID Principles. Digital Accessibility & Compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, ADA). WAI-ARIA Best Practices for accessibility testing & compliance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating accessibility testing into development. Experience in definition of done standards for accessibility compliance.
