http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2234574&uid= Role: Mainframe Network Systems Engineer Location : Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) Position type : Contract Project Duration : Long Term Detailed JD : o z/OS Communication Server configuration, operation, and problem determination skills with an emphasis on VTAM SNA Enterprise Extender. o Familiarity with the z/OS Unix subsystem (OMVS) and the Unix SYSLOG files. o z/VM VTAM, TCPIP and RSCS configuration, operation, and problem determination skills with an emphasis on TCPIP. o A working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol, including FTP, and a high-level understanding of IP routing. o Experience with capturing and formatting IP packet traces on z/OS and performing preliminary analysis of the trace using Wireshark and/or IPCS. o A working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure using X509 digital certificates, including the ability to troubleshoot TLS handshake issues. o Experience with programming in REXX, including IBM Netview CLISTs, and IBM assembler language. o A working knowledge of using the LogOn INFO product. o Effective written and verbal communication kills when dealing with users, customers, and other technical support resources.
