Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL Developer with healthcare domain experience to join our team in Florida (Onsite). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL development, database programming, and performance tuning within a healthcare environment.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to improve system efficiency.
Work closely with business analysts, healthcare domain experts, and application developers to understand requirements and translate them into database solutions.
Maintain and enhance Oracle databases supporting healthcare applications.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare industry regulations such as HIPAA.
Develop and maintain ETL processes, data migrations, and data warehousing solutions as needed.
Support production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for database development and performance tuning.Required Skills:
Strong experience in PL/SQL programming and Oracle databases.
Healthcare domain experience is a must.
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with data modeling, relational database concepts, and indexing strategies.
Experience in ETL development, data migration, and reporting is a plus.
Understanding of healthcare data standards, claims processing, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HL7, EDI, etc.) is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Nice to Have:
Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports.
Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (AWS, Azure, P).
Exposure to NoSQL or Big Data technologies in healthcare analytics.
