Thanks, Oracle PL/SQL Developer with Bank/Finance Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid, Min. 2 days mandatory) Duration: 6-12 months Oracle PL/SQL Developer w/ capital markets domain expertise Skill | Years of Experience | Level of Competence | Oracle PL/SQL | | | Snowflake | | | SQL | | | Python | | | AWS | | | Job Summary The Senior Technical Specialist in Oracle PL/SQL will be responsible for the technical design, development, and maintenance of Oracle PL/SQL code. They will contribute to the implementation and enhancement of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain complex oracle pl/sql procedures, functions, packages, and triggers Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and design efficient database solutions Optimize sql queries and database code for performance improvements Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner Implement data security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection regulations Perform database tuning and capacity planning activities Create technical documentation and provide guidance to junior team members Skill Requirements Proficient in oracle pl/sql programming, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers Strong experience in designing and optimizing oracle databases Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for sql queries Familiarity with data security and compliance standards Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork abilities Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certification JD Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Python and Unix technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Requirements: 12+ years of experience building solutions using Oracle, Python and scripting. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL. Experience in Translating functional and technical requirements into detailed design Experience in Coding and unit testing, support SIT, UAT and Production deployments Must have good database programming skills covering Design/development of Stored Procedures, -Functions, Tables, and Triggers and tuning SQL queries for optimal performance. Develop ETL processes using Informatica to manage data integration tasks. Proficiency in scripting Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) Experience with cloud services preferably AWS Experience with Snowflake Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
