[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: PowerPlatform Analyst (Remote) Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 6 Months Client: VDOT **local candidates strongly preferred **candidate must be able to come to Richmond, VA to pick up laptop Responsibilities: Aid in the analysis, requirements gathering, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of Microsoft PowerPlatform solutions. Develop PowerPlatform solutions for the IT Division, and assist citizen developers in creating and maintaining their own solutions using the platform based on their business needs. Provide comprehensive support and training to the PowerPlatform user community at VDOT and assist in facilitating low/no-code technology adoption within the agency. Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platforms use at VDOT. Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage. Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of PowerPlatform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs. Troubleshoot PowerPlatform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes. Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution. Assist customers in discerning between PowerApps/PowerAutomate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs. Contribute in improving our processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS Design and Development of MS PowerPlatform to include CanvasApps, Model-Driven Apps, PowerAutomate, Sharepoint Online, and Teams. Experience with SharePoint Online configuration through the web UI. SharePoint Online site administration, governance, search, and security. Capable of supporting business/citizen developers via training, documentation, and hands-on guidance. Customizing web parts and web part pages; creating sites, document libraries, lists and views; search and taxonomies; Office/InfoPath integration; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Keywords: user interface information technology |
