Three days a week onsite, Tues, Wed, Thurs, with Monday and Friday being remote Lead UI Engineer for our client in Austin, TX. This is a long-term Contract position. Responsibilities: Lead UI team UI Development: Design and implement responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly user interfaces for web applications. Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements and wireframes into functional and appealing user interfaces. Front-End Coding: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end libraries or frameworks in React, and Node.js. User Experience (UX) Focus: Focus on delivering a seamless, intuitive user experience by ensuring that UI designs are visually appealing and easy to use. Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure consistent design and functionality across different browsers and devices. Testing & Debugging: Test and troubleshoot the front-end code, ensuring quality and resolving issues promptly. Required Skills: 2+ years experience as a Lead UI Frontend Engineer Advanced experience in ReactJS, Next.js and Typescript- 5+ Years React Hooks - 5+ Years experience HTML/CSS/JavaScript -5+ Years experience Node.js - 3+ Years experience Hands on experience with Figma and/or Sketch- 5+ years experience Experience translating wireframes or design mocks (e.g., Figma, Sketch) into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces Experience designing reusable, scalable component libraries with a focus on modularity and maintainability Skills in profiling React apps to reduce re-renders, optimize bundle size (e.g., code splitting with Webpack), and improve load times.
