They focus on 11 major MRM-approved models built in Python. The team handles analytics, execution support, and tasks related to data, customizations, overlays, and review. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience Python SQL Model development Data collection/gathering/analyzing Understanding of econ variables Excellent communication skills Macroeconomics education - Masters or PhD preferred Specifically, this role will need to deliver high quality models that empower the bank to optimize risk management, enhance strategic decision making and navigate uncertainty with confidence, as well as develop and implement models that simulate various macroeconomic and financial market scenarios, enabling scenario generation to support enterprise-wide stakeholders in Global Strategy (ESPE), Enterprise Credit, Enterprise Credit Risk (Allowance), Enterprise Capital Management, and Corporate Planning. Required and Desired Candidate Qualifications Including# of Years Prior Experience Needed: 5 years of work experience is required. Basic understanding of economic theory and economic modeling. Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. Strong Collaboration and Team skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Effective communicator at all levels with strong oral, written & influencing skills. Integrates seamlessly across complex set of stakeholders, internal partners, external resources. Aware, flexible, adaptive, and proactive. Strong organizational and project management skills (Horizon). Knowledge of database and SQL language for Oracle, and Hive/Impala Knowledge of Banking and Finance domain and/or experience working with model developers. Python programming experience, (numerical programming and data wrangling libraries). Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Python.
