Job Role: Network, Security with Palo Alto, Tufin Duration: 6 months+ Location: Denver, CO Local only Visa: , only Interview: 1 Video 2nd F2F Keywords for Search: Homerun: Juniper AND Palo Alto Requirements Top 3 Requirements: - 8+ years of relevant experience working with firewalls and understands firewalls holistically such as Juniper and Palo Alto (this is what the team uses) focused on certifications, experienced with throughput and security testing - Networking experience with BGP and load balancing - Some type of programming experience (like Python) to be able to run some of the automation Plusses: - Net - Virtualization experience - Experience with Tufin (firewall management tool) Day to Day/Project: - Working with firewall management tool: Tufin - Working on security policies - This person will not do a lot of the ACLs like an Operations Engineer (not a huge piece of the job) more focused on configuration of the firewall and management, being able to see that they line up with operations - Focused on some configuration and standardization, such as making sure the configurations on DOCSIS align - Making sure everything is aligned with roadmap discussions - As the team looks at NextGen firewalls Palo Alto has a lot of the NextGen firewalls would be helpful if someone had this experience - Python is the main programming language used for automation any programming experience, mostly scripting if something doesnt run right, lets go fix it Company Sell/Sizzle Charter Communications is a leading broadband communications company and the second largest cable operator in the United States.
