No GC CPT/OPT Role: Azure Databricks Developer Location: Louisville, KY (Onsite) Contract Job Description: Azure Databricks Developer Responsibilities: Develop and implement data pipelines on Azure Databricks. Work extensively with Apache Spark on Azure Databricks to process large-scale datasets. Optimize and tune Spark applications for performance and cost efficiency. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. Design, code, debug, and document data integration solutions. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant policies and standards. Deploy and manage scalable data processing solutions on Azure. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in big data and cloud technologies. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Spark and Azure Databricks. Strong experience with Big Data technologies and processing frameworks. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, or similar technologies. Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. Strong understanding of SQL and database management. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
