Role: Power Apps Developer Location: New York, Boston or Connecticut(Onsite) General overview of the role Design, develop, and create processes to manage applications on the Microsoft 365/ Power Platform, Gather stakeholder requirements in business language and terms to identify application module to build Enterprise Risk Management program application solutions to create automation, efficiency and innovation. imize application performance, using professional experience and continuously keeping up-to-date on platform advancements. Typical duties and responsibilities Develop applications with Microsoft Power Apps to meet business requirements and streamline processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional solutions. Design, test, and deploy applications incorporating user interfaces, workflows, and data integrations. Ensure applications are efficient, scalable, and offer a user-friendly experience. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power Apps applications and integrations. Document application development processes, including design specifications and user guides. Knowledgeable on latest applications updates and best practices, to guide process for continuous improvement post-deployment. MS Power Platform Application Suite Required skills and developer experience Prior experience in application development, with about 5-7 years of professional focus on Microsoft Power Apps. Advanced knowledge of Power Apps development, including integration of Power Apps with other Microsoft Power Suite tools such as Lists, Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power BI. Microsoft Flow (Power Automate) to automate workflows triggered by Power Apps actions. SQL, relational databases, and importing and exporting data with MS Power Suite tools. Power BI (including Desktop version) Coding in Power FX, including creating logic expressions Interactive dashboards to display data from multiple sources in a user-friendly format Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Knowledge of best practices for app performance imization and security Environment Roles, Resource permissions Dataverse (if a Dataverse data base is provisioned). Power Platform Admin, Environment management and monitoring, activity logging, admin analytics Preferred skills and experience Relevant certifications (e.g.MS Certified: Power Apps Developer Associate or Power Platform Developer Associate) Banking or risk management functions, e.g. risk inventory and aggregation Hands on, self-motivated professional style with the ability to effectively prioritize Acts with sense of urgency,accountability,and ownership Degree in Science, Technical field Experience or ability to articulate Use Case benefits from: Canvas, Model-driven apps Custom connectors, API to integrate with external data Azure Services, Cloud-based solutions Java script / other programming languages for advanced customization Data Loss Prevention, Conditional Access, Power Loop Power Virtual Agents: Additional details Application General Needs High Level: 1. Work Flow management (e.g. Notification, Access, Approval, Review), 2. Data Storage 3. Data Visualization/Summary/Analysis and Reporting integration w/MS Office Suite 4.
