In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of our Linux-based systems. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of our Linux environment, and collaborate with other IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions. Responsibilities: Linux System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian). Perform system monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning. Manage system resources and capacity planning. Perform system backups and restores. Manage user administration and security. Server Management: Configure and maintain web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx). Configure and maintain application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss). Manage virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, KVM). Manage containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Networking: Configure and maintain network services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSH). Troubleshoot network issues. Implement and maintain network security measures. Security: Implement and maintain security policies and procedures. Manage user roles and authorizations. Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages. Automate routine system administration tasks.
