Job Description HM has seen tons of resume's the main falling point is them being just data engineers, ideally they would come from a devops background 1. Ideal candidate would come from a DevOps background 2. Candidates must be able to speak to artifact repositories 3. Must understand how to integrate and deploy CICD pipelines 4. Must have heavy python experience, SQL queries and commands 5. Spark and Hadoop are musts, will have to have demonstratable experience using both 6. Understands Data engineering 7. Code to production 8. Python Data Application Development (Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter, Zeppelin) 9. Gitlab Pipeline Development (will take GitHub but GitLab is what he really wants 10. Git Branching Strategies 11. Experience with Airflow, AWS Glue, Redshift, AWS S3 DataLake 12. PLSQL experience 13. Data Quality Scripting (Great Expectations, Selenium) Preferred: 1. Github experience (would need to be a rockstar in all other areas) 2. Would take azure, but is not top of his list (if they have azure experience, he will expect them to be a rockstar in other required areas) 3. Really wanting an Architect but doesnt have the budget for it, platform architecture experience or equivalent moves the candidate to the top of the list.
