Replacement position - before that person worked in the FIX, Connectivity and onboarding space - That's a niche technology That's basically used for Electronic Trading floor and the FIX is one of that niche skill. Manager is looking out for the person who should have minimum 5 plus years of experience in FIX, Connectivity, and onboarding space - Level 1 , Level 2 would be great. The person who would have worked in the administrative bank or the hedge fund, Financial exp. On the FIX onboarding as well as support , when we say the FIX, onboarding and support that means talking to the our trading desk, talking to the FIX ed client, talking to their vendors, Network OMS all the life cycle of that FIX ed trade flow. That person should be familiar with a different FIX versions FIX 42, 44, 42. FIX 42 is being the most commonly used across the industry. Looking for the person who has the FIX onboard support testing certification , that experience who can help talking to our trading desk and has a good understanding of how the flow works. Person should have a knowledge on Linux environment . You should be able to write scripts or modify the existing scripts , Running SQL queries . That's the basic technical point of view manager is expecting. If a person knows more than that, like a Python or Java , that will be definitely advantage for that. And Communication, Troubleshooting skills , whenever any person is given a task, that person should be responsible to take the ownership of that task and make sure that everything is better documented ( Jira ).
