From: satin, Cohesive Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Sr. Technical Product Analyst, Location: Allen, CA or San Diego, CA (Can be remote for an exceptional candidate but onsite work highly preferred) Duration: 6 Months Summary Under minimal supervision, assists Technical Product Management in designing and modifying the Episys platform with a focus on administration, installation, and performance. Collaborates with Technical Product Management, Development, Sales, Operations and clients to deliver solutions for the Symitar platform with emphasis on the administrative functions. Essential Functions Developing and organizing testing methods, and building test cases to support the overall quality control process. Providing documentation of technological systems to comprehend, modify, and upgrade core behavior from the point of view of multi-tenant and single tenant administrators of Symitar. Utilizing particular technologies to monitor applications, platforms, databases, and networking to determine how solutions can be improved for administrators of Symitar. Researching and evaluating emerging technologies, including both hardware and software. Employing supportability, scalability, simplicity of management, and system practice guidelines. Plays leadership role designing, modifying, and managing activities for the product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and release. Helps establish and maintain non-functional requirements for the system, as a whole, and for components. Assists as a central resource with design, process, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to completion and release. Tracks statistics of product adoption by customers and translates feedback into enhancement recommendations. Assists in completing a smooth turnover of new capabilities and enhancements to the implementation or support organizations that includes planning, training and hand off. Establishes and interacts with user community. Assists Technical Product Manager(s) in creating and maintaining product vision/roadmap documents and presentations. Participates in the rollout of marketing plans/campaigns. Works with Software Acceptance Management (SAM) to support beta and GA program definition and coordinates execution. Assists Technical Product Management in creating sales tool kits and standard demonstrations (and occasional participation in customer demonstrations). Assists in internal training of technical support resources. Assists in investigating the application of new technologiesand industry trends to product management activities. Ensures that products meet specifications and quality goals. May assist less experienced peers. Minimum Qualifications BS Computer Science, Engineering or related Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems analysis and/or systems engineering required. Certifications: RHCSA (Red Hat), CompTIA Server/Security, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, LPIC-1 (Linux), CCNA (Cisco), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, other applicable certifications. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 3+ years of experience in an IT Analyst, Engineer, or Developer role delivering IT services or development and operation of internal business software solutions 3+ years of advanced experience developing complex business process workflows, IT Operations processes and systems flows, and data flows Experience developing knowledge base and other knowledge management activities Experience administering or supporting a variety of IT systems and platforms Experience developing processes for IT Operations Experience implementing reports, queries, and dashboards Experience with and developing non-functional requirements Strong organizational skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the financial services industry or in vendors who service this industry preferred.
