The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation. This role requires expertise in facilitating cross-functional teams and working in a structured enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities: Perform business analysis for software development projects, including preparing project-related documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Facilitate interactive sessions with business users and cross-functional teams. Conduct root cause analysis for production support issues and recommend necessary system corrections. Assist in business process improvements and develop strategies for operational efficiency. Develop and maintain an understanding of key business drivers and impacts to support informed decision-making. Define functional design specifications, traceability matrices, and use case scenarios. Prepare and review system specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Guide business and functional units in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and implementation.Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in business analysis for software development projects, including technical documentation. Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, client management, and data modeling. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, SnagIt, and other prototyping/screen mock-up tools. Experience in analyzing production support issues to determine root cause and system corrections. Strong knowledge of functional design specifications, system documentation, and process improvement strategies. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate business needs to technical teams. Experience in SQL, Salesforce environments, RemedyForce, Java/J2EE, and relational databases (1 year minimum). Familiarity with mainframe environments and business process automation. Experience in Oil & Gas industry or compliance/enforcement-related projects (preferred). Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Preferred Qualifications: Experience in change management and process optimization. Strong ability to lead and drive business process improvements. Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and team collaboration skills.Additional Notes: Candidate must be willing to relocate onsite after 6 months.
