In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Cognos-based business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver insightful and actionable reports and dashboards. Responsibilities: Cognos Report and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and cubes. Create complex reports using Cognos Report Studio, Analysis Studio, and Workspace Advanced. Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Cognos Dashboards. Optimize Cognos reports and dashboards for performance. Cognos Framework Manager: Design and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models. Create and manage metadata for Cognos reports and dashboards. Optimize Framework Manager models for performance and scalability. Cognos Administration: Perform Cognos administration tasks, including user management, security configuration, and scheduling. Troubleshoot Cognos environment issues. Monitor Cognos system performance and identify areas for optimization. Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and implement data models for Cognos reports and dashboards. Work with data engineers to ensure data quality and consistency. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Create and maintain technical documentation. Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize Cognos reports, dashboards, and Framework Manager models for performance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
