Thanks, Sr. Python lead with Django and Microservices Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid, 2 days onsite) Duration: 6-12 months NEED LOCAL NJ/NY ONLY Summary: Looking for a highly skilled Senior Python/Django Developer. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Django, Python, Microservices, and web application development, along with experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend systems. Responsibilities: Job Summary This position entails leading a technical team with a focus on python, cloud, and microservices. The role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions utilizing these technologies to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical team in the design, development, and deployment of python, cloud, and microservices based applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technical requirements and propose solutions to meet business objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed. Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate various systems and ensure seamless operation. Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to maintain system quality and stability. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in python, cloud, and microservices to drive innovation within the team. Skill Requirements Proficiency in python programming language with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming. Experience in designing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as aws, azure, or google cloud. Knowledge of microservices architecture, including containerization tools like docker and orchestration tools like kubernetes. Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Leadership qualities to inspire and guide the technical team towards successful project delivery. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Python, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), or microservices are a plus. Responsibilities Develop & Maintain Django Microservice Applications: Design, implement, and maintain web applications using Django and related technologies. API Development: Create and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas using MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other databases. Code Optimization & Performance Tuning: Improve application performance, scalability, and security. Cloud & DevOps: Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on cloud platforms (Azure). Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure application reliability. Collaboration: Work with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Best Practices & Documentation: Follow coding best practices, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers. Required Technical Skills: Experience in Django & Python development. Strong understanding of Django ORM, Migrations, and Class-Based Views and microservices architecture. Experience with RESTful APIs (Django rest framework), GraphQL. Proficiency in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL database management. Knowledge of Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ for asynchronous task processing. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Vue.js (Preferred). Good knowledge of security best practices, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and access control.
