Role: Senior Civil Engineer Lead land development projects from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements. Develop and review grading, drainage, and utility plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal standards. Oversee stormwater management design, hydrology studies, and erosion control plans. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality. Serve as the Engineer of Record, reviewing and signing engineering plans and reports. Team & Client Coordination: Supervise and mentor junior engineers, designers, and CAD technicians. Collaborate with surveyors, architects, planners, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Communicate with clients, city agencies, and regulatory bodies to obtain permits and approvals. Lead client meetings and presentations, acting as the primary point of contact for engineering-related matters. Technical Expertise & Innovation: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for design and analysis. Apply expertise in hydrology, grading, earthwork calculations, and utility infrastructure. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations affecting land development in California. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in project execution.
