[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Automation AI Security Engineer Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months Visa: USC/GC Job Description: The resources function is essential to securing the City of New Yorks systems for the MyCity Portal development project. Specifically, this resource will help aid in the automation of the Project's Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities with other cybersecurity tools. This requires the testing and hardening of the AI ecosystem through well-designed frameworks designed to protect the City of New York's systems and data from emerging cyber-attacks. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience. Ability to leverage REST APIs to build tool and platform integration. Proficient in git version control and git life-cycle development. 8+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security and Python development. Demonstrated ability to write test scripts, automate test cases, and analyze test results using programming languages and testing frameworks. Ability to work independently to learn new technologies, methods, processes, frameworks/platforms, and systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts to both lay and expert audiences. Ability to stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and best practices in both software testing and artificial intelligence. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an everchanging environment. Understanding of public cloud platforms and experience with utilizing platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Experience working in a security environment and/or supporting security teams from a technical standpoint. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment. Highly flexible/willing to learn new technologies.
