Share me resume at satyam@1pointsys.com Role: JAVA/J2SE 8 FULL STACK DEVELOPER Location: Hybrid, Auburn Hills MI- on site 3 days a week Pay Rate: $50/HR C2C Visa: No H1B Duties and Responsibilities: It is 12-month+ contract opening for a Java/J2SE 8 developer to support a leading automotive OEM in Auburn Hills, MI. This product team developer role works within a well-established product team supporting various high-profile dealer applications used for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. This role works very collaboratively with team members, business partners, other IT departments, and outside vendors to deliver high-quality, value-added output. It is a fast-paced iterative environment with multiple major and minor releases per year Create or update design and systems documentation for developed or modified services or programs Create process and data flow diagrams for data movement capture Analyze and translate business requirements to technical design Analyze and resolve technical issues Collaborate/communicate with the project team and business users as required Support functional testing and performance testing Works with technical delivery lead on project activities Ensure assigned work is implemented within project schedules Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical assets in the SOA environment. Education and Years of Experience : Minimum of 7+ years overall IT experience Minimum 5+ years of web application/service development and integration experience. Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Responsible for detailed design, development, unit testing, and integration of applications Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies both the functional and non-functional requirements Develop configurable software services that support applications integrated to enterprise services Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended team members from other applications Use secure development best practices and design patterns Solid understanding of various enterprise services and micro-service concepts Solid understanding of Enterprise Service Bus concepts Experience with DevOps in a cloud environment and various mobile platforms desired Experienced in waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business analysts, solution architects, project managers and to mentor other team members Customer and quality focused Specialized Skills: Knowledge or certifications unique to this role Demonstrated extensive hands-on application development experience through full project lifecycle Strong architecture, analysis, design, coding, and code review skills in cloud based responsive web applications Must have experience with Java/J2SE 8 with a deep understanding of the language and core API's, web services, code profiling and optimization Strong working experience in building web applications using Angular 12+/Typescript with thorough understanding of build and deploy practices for different environments Strong working experience in building REST services using Spring Boot and Spring Data Knowledge and experience in developing and deploying microservices Knowledge of and experience in the implementation of design patterns and creating modular code Working experience with JPA, Hibernate, and HQL Strong database experience with Oracle / MySQL or other relational databases.
