The ideal candidate will lead a team of QA engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role demands strong automation experience, hands-on scripting abilities, and leadership skills to enhance testing frameworks and improve CI/CD pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Test Strategy & LeadershipDefine and implement QA best practices, automation strategies, and test frameworks.Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers in test automation and quality engineering initiatives.Ensure alignment of QA processes with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.Automation & Framework DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Gauge, and Appium.Create scalable and reusable test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Optimize test execution time and improve reliability of automation suites.Functional, API, and Performance TestingDevelop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases.Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.Defect Management & ReportingIdentify, document, and track defects.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve software reliability.Continuous Improvement & CollaborationStay updated with the latest trends in test automation and quality engineering.Drive test automation adoption across teams and advocate for shift-left testing.Work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releases.Required Skills & Qualifications:7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years as a QA Lead/QE Lead.Strong expertise in Playwright and Appium for test automation.Experience with test automation for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs.Hands-on scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).Familiarity with cloud testing platformsExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Good to have Skills :Knowledge of Gauge frameworkExperience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). | United States | TCS - Dallas, TX~TCS - Sunnyvale AUSTIN~Sunnyvale Austin, TX~Sunnyvale, CA | Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst information technology green card California Texas QALead(Playwright,Appium) - Onsite TX & CA mounika@vsbtech.com https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2261390 |
