Position: 100 % Remote Hadoop Administrator Location: 100% remote Duration: Long term Job Description: The Hadoop Administrator will work as part of a Platform Administrator team who are responsible for the installation, maintenance, monitoring and support of the Cloudera Hadoop clusters on-premise. The Hadoop platform supports the reporting and analytics needs of the company. Why you want to work on this team: This is a highly intelligent and highly collaborative and dedicated team that works to ensure our companies most valuable data is being handled and transmitted properly This team has high visibility within the organization and works with various teams to ensure proper system function Role qualifications: BS, BA degree in software or systems engineering, computer science, information systems management, or the equivalent work experience 8+ years overall experience in Hadoop Administration, managing large and Multiple on-premise environments.
