The candidate will be expected to work onsite every Wednesday. **Due to the nature of the work associated with this role, the client requires the selected candidate to either be a US or a card holder. The Department of Information Technology (DIT) serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC. Services that DIT provides reach a client base of state and local government agencies, as well as schools, colleges and universities. This position is within the NC DIT's Data Analytics team within the Government Data Analytics Center which supports the development of enterprise business intelligence applications. The Specialist works closely with State Agencies to understand their business needs, assists in development and/or recommendations to support the evaluation of programs, improvement of services, financial transparency, compliance and safety. This position is a technical resource who fosters partnership and collaboration across government agencies to assist in data driven decisions.
