The ideal candidate will have extensive AWS expertise, deep backend development experience, and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure. This role involves little to no frontend workthe primary focus is on AWS engineering, backend development, and Python scripting. Prior experience as a VG contractor is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services and cloud infrastructure. Design and implement scalable solutions using AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.). Write efficient, maintainable, and testable Python code for backend applications. Work with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions. Required Skills: Strong backend development experience (no frontend work). Expertise in Python for backend services and scripting. Deep AWS experience (hands-on with AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and deployments). Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, and API development. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a VG contractor is highly preferred. AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer) are a plus. Experience with big data processing frameworks (Spark, EMR) is a plus.
