The ideal candidate will have experience in designing data processes to support agentic systems, ensuring data quality, and facilitating interaction between agents and data. Responsibilities: Design and develop data pipelines for agentic systems, ensuring robust data flows for complex interactions between AI agents and data sources. Train and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) using structured and unstructured datasets. Design and build data architecture, including databases and data lakes, to support data engineering tasks. Develop and manage Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes for efficient data movement. Implement data pipelines with feedback loops for human-in-the-loop systems. Work with vector databases to store and retrieve embeddings efficiently. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to preprocess data, train models, and integrate AI into applications. Optimize data storage and retrieval for high performance. Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns from multiple data sources. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in Big Data frameworks like Spark/Databricks. Experience with Azure services (Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lakes, Azure Databricks, Azure AI). Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks. Knowledge of Graph DB and vector databases. Experience with GIS spatial data and data conflation. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Familiarity with cloud computing and cloud AI services. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Experience with Department of Transportation data domains and AI composite agentic solutions. Expertise in data partitioning and integrating with AI agent frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
