Why This Role As a Python Back-End Developer, youll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing Snowflake workloads while contributing to AI/ML initiatives. Youll work in an Agile environment alongside product owners, quality engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable and high-performance solutions. What Youll Do: Snowflake Administration: Manage Snowflake accounts, support its control plane, and enable workloads efficiently. Agile Development: Contribute expertise in software development best practices within an Agile framework. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with diverse teams to solve architectural challenges and implement robust solutions. Innovation & Testing: Conduct quick proofs of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features. What You Bring to the Table: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Required). Experience: 1-2 years minimum (Recent graduates welcome!). Snowflake Expertise: Strong knowledge of Snowflake administration, metadata schemas, and internals. Cloud & DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab automation, and distributed cloud services (Azure preferred). Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or Java & SQL. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational and in-memory databases (Oracle, Vertica, Hazelcast). BI Integration: Ability to integrate Snowflake with various BI tools. Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English. Bonus: Snowflake Certification (Preferred but not required).
