The role requires expertise in Databricks, Elasticsearch, Python/Scala, AWS, Oracle, and ETL processes. This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite work in Lansing, MI, two days per week. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize complex database systems. Work with Databricks, ElasticSearch, and Kibana to manage and analyze large datasets. Implement ETL pipelines and ensure data integrity across systems. Utilize Python/Scala for data processing and transformation. Develop solutions using Oracle and AWS to support data warehousing and analytics. Implement agile development processes, including test-driven development. Utilize CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices for software development. Required Qualifications: 12+ years of experience developing complex database systems. 8+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Elasticsearch, and Kibana. 8+ years of experience in Python and Scala for data engineering. 8+ years of experience working with Oracle databases. 5+ years of experience designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines. 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services. 5+ years of experience with data warehousing, visualization, and integrity. 5+ years of experience working in a CMM/CMMI Level 3 environment. 5+ years of experience following agile development methodologies.
