Principal DevSecOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform) 6+ months Location: Dallas, TX, or Miramar, FL (must go onsite and after 30 days = hybrid) Visa Requirement: US Citizens or Green Card Holders Only Top Priorities for Hiring Manager: Terraform & AWS expertise (AWS is the primary focus; Azure/GCP is a plus). CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, scripting expertise). Cloud security and DevSecOps leadership (Prisma Cloud, SonarQube, SIEM, container security). Principal Developer: Expected to architect solutions, provide strategic recommendations, and lead discussions on infrastructure as code. Overview: The Principal DevSecOps Engineer will play a critical role in integrating security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) while leading DevSecOps initiatives and implementing secure, scalable CI/CD solutions. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient deployments. Key Responsibilities: DevSecOps & CI/CD Implementation: Design and implement secure, scalable DevSecOps solutions for infrastructure and security. Automate security integrations using SAST/DAST tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning (e.g., Prisma Cloud, SonarQube). Optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Terraform. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Security: Manage multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Terraform & Kubernetes. Lead containerization initiatives with Docker & Helm 3. Architect secure cloud environments, focusing on API Security & Container Security. Implement artifact management solutions (Artifactory, Nexus). Monitoring & Security Analysis: Deploy monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for infrastructure visibility. Integrate SIEM solutions (Splunk or similar) for advanced security threat detection. Optimize web server configurations (Apache, Nginx) for performance and security. Maintain incident tracking systems and proactively mitigate security risks. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure deployments. Research and integrate emerging DevSecOps trends and methodologies. Lead internal training and documentation efforts for DevSecOps processes. Minimum Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and security automation. Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm 3. Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation (GitOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD). Strong background in cloud security principles, API security, and container security. Proficiency in security tools (Prisma Cloud, SIEM, Nessus, CrowdStrike). Scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Expert-level Azure certification(s). Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies. Terraform certification is highly preferred but not required. NOTES FROM CLIENT CALL TODAY MARCCH 18: Role Overview & Responsibilities: Hands-on experience with Terraform or Terraform Enterprise (module writing, infrastructure as code). AWS expertise is a must (AWS is a priority in the cloud environment). CICD pipeline experience (build and deployment automation). Security experience is a nice-to-have but not a primary focus. Work on cloud module creation, Terraform repository setup, and infrastructure automation for Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits. Collaborate closely with Cloud Ops and Networking teams to design and implement solutions. Preferred & Nice-to-Have Skills: Security tools like SonarQube or Prisma Cloud (nice to have). DevSecOps exposure is a plus but not a key focus.
