The role involves server management, database administration, security, and vendor coordination for customization and reporting needs. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP (v14 and v17) in Azure cloud environments. Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases, backups, and performance tuning. Develop custom Odoo modules, workflows, and automation scripts. Deploy and update Odoo modules in test and production environments. Ensure smooth integration of third-party services (StockIQ, ADP Payroll, Avalara). Work with external vendors to replace the existing IT customization team. Monitor system performance, security, and user access controls. Automate administrative tasks using Python scripts and DevOps tools. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Odoo ERP. Qualifications: 6+ years of experience as an Odoo ERP Administrator or Technical Consultant. Expertise in PostgreSQL, Odoo customization, and server administration. Experience with Azure-hosted Odoo environments. Strong knowledge of Odoo v14 and v17 migration. Experience with API integrations and third-party services (ADP, Avalara, StockIQ). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
