SQL DBA 5+ Yrs of Exp Customer Interaction 5+ Yrs of Exp SQL 5+ Yrs of Exp SQL DBA - recent experience working as SQL DBA is a must Customer interaction SS Migration Assistant SSMA Writing tons of SQL Queries Stored Procedures Public Sector experience is a plus DBA The Role: Manage and maintain SQL Server, Snowflake, and AWS Cloud databases. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of database systems. Perform database tuning, optimization, and regular backups to ensure data integrity. Monitor database health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for database-related problems. Assist with database design and architecture for new projects and system enhancements. Manage and optimize data storage, indexing, and query performance. Handle migration and upgrades across multiple database environments. Leverage AWS Cloud services to deploy and manage databases. Work with Snowflake to support data warehousing and analytics requirements. Collaborate with development, operations, and analytics teams to support business needs. Provide database support to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain database documentation and runbooks. What you will bring: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a DBA, with strong expertise in SQL Server or Oracle and Snowflake. Extensive experience working with AWS Cloud, including RDS, EC2, S3, and other relevant services. Strong knowledge of database security, performance tuning, and optimization. Proficiency in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts. Hands-on experience with database backups, restores, and recovery models. Experience with database migration and upgrades across cloud and on-prem environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
