Job Title: QA/BA Consultant Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Experience: 12+ Years Required Skills & Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in QA and BA roles within software development, particularly with a focus on payment systems (ACH, Clear2Pay, OPF, or similar). Strong knowledge of payment systems and financial transaction processing standards. Expertise in both manual and automated testing, particularly in payment processing systems. Solid experience in writing and executing test cases for complex payment solutions and integration with third-party services. Proficient in Business Analysis techniques such as gathering and documenting business requirements, and creating user stories, use cases, and process flows. Strong experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or other test management software. Experience with SQL and database testing for payments-related systems. Solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Proven ability to facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity. Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to payment systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience with payment gateways, fraud detection systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS). Certifications such as ISTQB, CBAP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). Experience with API testing and integration testing for payment systems. Familiarity with industry-standard tools for payments, such as Clear2Pay (or other payment platforms). Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience in a lership role in QA/BA or managing a team in a payment-related domain.
