You will be responsible for SQL Server Production Database Administration and also Database / ETL development using SSIS. Initially you will perform 80% Production Database Administration and 20% ETL SSIS Development. Over time this will change to 80% ETL versus 20% Production Database Administration. RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement database in accordance to industry best practice standards Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users Determine, document and enforce database standards Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required Maintain and update personnel on related database technology development and direction. Required Skills: Strong experience in relational database development/administration and proven working experience as a Database developer/administrator with expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Databases SQL Server Product DBA experience ETL / SSIS Database Development Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, .Net) Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding practices Expertise with Data Warehouse technologies Keywords: green card Texas Urgent requirement || ETL Database Developer || Hybrid prince@adventatech.com |
