The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, and Scripting (Perl, Scripting) to support and enhance database applications. Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure performance efficiency. Perform query tuning and database performance optimization. Develop and maintain Perl and scripts for automation and data processing. Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices. Work on database design, indexing strategies, and partitioning techniques. Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes. Required Skills: 12+ years of experience in PL/SQL Development. Strong expertise in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. Hands-on experience in query tuning and database performance optimization. Proficiency in Perl and Scripting for automation and database interactions. Strong understanding of database indexing, partitioning, and optimization techniques. Experience with large-scale databases and handling high-volume transactions. Ability to analyse and debug SQL execution plans. Familiarity with database tools such as Toad, SQL*Plus, and SQL Developer. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
