Position: Project Manager End User Services Rate $45/hr on c2c Only USC GC GCEAD H4EAD TN Remote Role Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, from planning through execution, ensuring all objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop detailed project plans that identify and sequence project activities, resources, and timelines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, service delivery, vendors, and end users, to ensure smooth project execution. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Act as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries, ensuring transparency and clear communication. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and solutions. Manage project scope and change requests to ensure projects remain on track. Resource Allocation & Management: Oversee the allocation of resources, ensuring team members are adequately trained, skilled, and equipped to execute tasks. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors involved in project delivery. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for end-user services, optimizing processes and workflows. Collect and analyze data on service performance, identifying areas for improvement. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the companys quality standards and are aligned with user requirements. Monitor project outcomes, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and policies. End User Engagement: Ensure that user experience is central to project goals, working closely with end users to gather feedback and adapt solutions accordingly. Coordinate user training sessions, documentation, and adoption of new systems or tools. Merger and Acquisition (M&A) Integration: Lead and manage the integration of end-user services during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transitions, ensuring a seamless and efficient consolidation of IT systems and services. Oversee the migration and standardization of hardware, software, and support tools between merging organizations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-user services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, legal, and operations) to align processes, tools, and policies during M&A integrations. Develop and implement plans to merge service desk operations, end-user computing environments, and infrastructure in compliance with company standards. Identify potential risks in the M&A process related to end-user services, such as system incompatibilities, and develop mitigation plans. End User Services Requirements: End User Support and Services Delivery: Oversee the deployment and management of end-user support services, including desktop support, service desk operations, and IT hardware/software provisioning. Ensure seamless delivery of end-user services, including incident, problem, change, and request management in line with ITIL best practices. Monitor service performance to ensure SLAs are being met, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution. Collaboration with IT Support Teams: Work closely with IT service management teams to ensure effective incident resolution, request fulfillment, and ongoing support for end-user technology needs. Develop and implement processes for seamless handoffs between service desks, desktop support teams, and project teams. User Experience (UX) Focus: Prioritize and deliver solutions that improve the overall end-user experience, addressing pain points in service delivery and ensuring effective use of technology. Develop and maintain communication strategies to keep end users informed of changes, updates, and new technology deployments. Technology Adoption and Change Management: Lead the adoption of new end-user technologies and services, ensuring that end users are well-prepared for changes and that the transition is smooth. Coordinate and support change management efforts, including training, user communications, and providing resources for successful change implementation. Monitoring & Reporting on End User Services: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track the success and areas of improvement for end-user services. Perform regular service reviews with stakeholders to assess performance and identify opportunities for process improvements or new services. End User Device & Asset Management: Oversee the management of end-user devices and assets (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.), including procurement, deployment, lifecycle management, and disposal. Collaborate with procurement and IT operations teams to ensure that devices are properly managed and that policies are adhered to. Compliance & Security: Ensure that end-user services and technology solutions comply with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Work with security teams to incorporate user security training and promote secure behavior among end users. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or end-user services environments. Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Strong understanding of end-user support services, IT service management, and customer experience. Experience managing and integrating IT systems and end-user services during mergers and acquisitions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) frameworks. Familiarity with end-user computing technologies, service desk operations, and enterprise applications. Experience in leading global or multi-site teams. Knowledge of budget management and financial oversight for IT projects.
